What does a HyTEPS Engineer do?

As an electrical engineer at HyTEPS, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing and solving challenging problems within electrical installations. To do so, you will be carrying out (low, medium and high voltage) measurements at various points within the customer’s installation. You will be using specialized equipment such as the Fluke 435-II Power Quality & Energy analyzer and Keysight oscilloscope. You analyze measurement data and produce comprehensive technical reports for our clients.

Mocht er ruimte zijn in de planning kan het zijn dat je ook wordt ingezet voor andere werkzaamheden, zoals inbedrijfstellingen van de door ons geleverde producten op locatie, inventarisatie m.b.t. energiemanagement projecten en simulaties en THD-calculaties (mits je kennis hiervoor toereikend is).In accordance with planning, you may also be deployed for other work, such as on-site commissioning of products we supply on site, taking stock of energy management projects and simulations and THD calculations (provided you have the knowledge required to do so).

A large part of the work is carried out at our customers’ premises in the Netherlands, as well as abroad (worldwide). You will be working on varied and challenging projects for organizations in different sectors, such as industry, care, production, maritime, data centers and offshore. In larger projects, we often work directly with installers such as Heijmans, Unica, Kuijpers and Engie.

Relaying on your knowledge, our experience and our manufacturers’ innovative products, we offer the best solution for every customer, issue and situation. This includes implementing products such as active and passive harmonic filters, capacitor banks, EMC filters, power quality meters and analyzers, EQ Flicker Compensation and products developed or put together especially for the customer in cooperation with our factories.

You have a Master’s degree or Higher secondary level education, preferably in Electrical Engineering

Knowledge of Power Quality or energy technology

Good command of the English and preferably Dutch language

Prepared to travel abroad for work

Flexible and no ‘9 to 5’ mentality

Customer-oriented; you can easily navigate new customer environments

The ability to reason clearly and analytical thinking skills

High degree of independence and responsibility

Driving license B and living in the Netherlands
