SDG 4: Quality Education
Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
HyTEPS believes in equal opportunities for all, regardless of gender, race, religion or origin, and endorses the added value of working with employees from different cultures. Sharing knowledge and experiences contributes to the development of individuals, institutions and society as a whole.
We see there is currently a lack of practical case experience in higher technical education. Tomorrow’s E-professionals need practical knowledge and insights to make a successful start in an increasingly complex environment.
HyTEPS supports access to quality education for students and promotes lifelong learning for electrical professionals, especially installation managers. In this area, we support SDG 4.4. “By 2030, substantially increase the number of youth and adults who have relevant skills, including technical and vocational skills, for employment, decent jobs and entrepreneurship.”
HyTEPS offers its own modular advanced education program for skilled professionals and recent graduates. By enriching vocational education with our expertise, we increase students’ professional knowledge and ensure theory and practice match. Our Power Competence Centre focuses on lifelong learning: it is open to new views, increasing awareness of technical solutions by sharing knowledge, keeping up with developments within the field, and mastering new techniques.
We work closely with the Eindhoven University of Technology, and Avans and Fontys universities of applied sciences. We have already trained various academics and are an approved work placement company. Sharing knowledge is a key priority at HyTEPS – we do this through collaborations with academia, and by offering (online and offline) educational programs and courses. In addition, we regularly organize guest lectures, seminars and readings on current themes for customers, partners and other interested parties.
SDG 7: Affordable and sustainable energy
Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all.
No one should need to worry about the availability and safety of electricity. HyTEPS increases the quality and reliability of electrical installations by supporting and optimizing the entire process, from design to operation.
HyTEPS’ core offering consists of optimizing electrical installations and ensuring their continued reliability. This demonstrably contributes to ensuring a safe, always available energy supply. In particular, we support SDG 7.1 “Guarantee universal access to affordable, reliable and modern energy services by 2030”.
With the energy transition, the quality and reliability of electricity are becoming more important than ever. HyTEPS facilitates the energy transition and demonstrably promotes efficient energy usage. We support cleaner energy production, partly by increasing the yield of existing plants and reducing CO2 emissions.
By continuously carrying out large quantities of analyses and troubleshooting, HyTEPS knows where problems arise and how they can be resolved. This supports the modernization and optimization of installations. Problems and outages caused by expansion of the E-grid are also addressed. HyTEPS’ solutions ensure a reliable supply of electrical energy and therefore greater prosperity, happiness and health for every consumer of electricity – from businesses to private users.
SDG 4: Industry, innovation and infrastructure
Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation.
HyTEPS provides reliable and safe electrical power, thereby facilitating robust, cleaner industrial production. In doing so, we support SDG 9.4. “By 2030, modernize infrastructure and make industries (…) sustainable, focusing on greater resource efficiency and cleaner and environmentally friendly technologies and industrial processes, with all countries taking the necessary action according to their own respective capabilities.”
These objectives are in line with HyTEPS’ core offering, which enables sustainable, efficient, reliable industrial infrastructure. HyTEPS optimizes and monitors the quality of electricity with knowledge, innovation and high-quality solutions. We help increase the reliability and efficiency of electrical installations, support the installation manager, and make the energy transition easier. Our Power Competence Centre and our innovation activities ensure that we are always thinking ahead.
Our products and services help to use the entire grid more efficiently. Insight into flows within the grid coupled with the knowledge and expertise help to optimize flows. HyTEPS also helps to stabilize the grid by bringing more resources together.
