“In May 2017 HyTEPS was contributed to a seminar organized by Techniek Nederland (formerly Uneto-VNI). On this day, Techniek Nederland had invited several speakers to give lectures about the risks involved in electrical installation design. Professor Sjef Cobben spoke about Power Quality in relation to the new NEN 1010: 2015 standard. During the speaking time reserved for HyTEPS, I further explained the Power Quality aspect, based on a number of case histories. ‘True life’ stories give a more vivid, clearer idea of the risks and problems that may arise. Things just click into place more easily.”
“The location that Techniek Nederland had chosen for the seminar was great. A modern, light building with lots of glass, surrounded by green, had been hired for this day. All lectures took place in the large revolving auditorium, which acted as the central point. Doekle Terpstra, chairman of Techniek Nederland, contributed to the seminar as chairman of the day. It was a great honor to give a lecture as a speaker representing HyTEPS for approximately 150 installers and other electrical engineers present. Sharing our story for such a huge group of interested people for the first time… that kind of moment that stays with you.”
