What you will do

As a Service Engineer at HyTEPS, you will be responsible for independently performing service, maintenance and, in time, commissioning of our high-quality systems. You will work on the frontline of the energy transition, where installations are becoming increasingly complex and the demand for stability is growing.

  • Specialist Equipment: You will maintain and configure critical components such as active Harmonic Filters, capacitor banks, battery chargers and advanced Power Quality meters and analysers.
  • Site Work & Diagnostics: You will move into the heart of Dutch industry, healthcare, data centres and the maritime sector. Sporadically, you will travel internationally for offshore projects or complex failures.
  • Combination of Ratio and Action: Your work requires a practical view of installations. You combine physical maintenance work with correctly measuring and reading data, being the link between theory and a flawlessly functioning installation.
  • Partnership: In large projects, you act as the expert partner for professional installers, directing the quality of the delivered solution.

What you can

We are looking for a driven E-technician who not only has the right qualifications, but also has the drive to become a real authority in the field. You are analytically strong, enjoy working independently and feel at home in a professional, customer-oriented environment where quality is the standard.

  • Education & Level of thinking: You have a completed HBO or MBO degree in electrical engineering. You can reason clearly and have strong analytical skills.
  • Communication & Language: You have an excellent command of Dutch and English, which is crucial for contact with our international manufacturers and reporting to customers.
  • Customer focus & Flexibility: You move easily into new environments and are flexible in terms of working and travelling time. You do not see the customer as a number, but as a partner who counts on your expertise.
  • Independence: You bear a high degree of responsibility and enjoy working independently, supported by a B driving licence and residence in the Netherlands.
