This is a common misconception. A CE mark means that the device has been tested under specific, isolated lab conditions. But once you combine dozens of these devices in one installation, with long cables and other 'pollutants', the limits can still be exceeded. The sum of the parts then creates the problem. CE is a starting point, not a guarantee of a fault-free installation.
