Why attend this event?

Electrical installations are becoming increasingly complex with the integration of power electronics, solar panels and EV charging stations. A traditional measurement provides only a snapshot, while reality is constantly changing. During this knowledge session, you will learn how to use a Digital Twin - an exact digital copy of your installation - to visualise and manage risks in the field of power quality and installation safety.

After this session, you will be able to:

  • Predicting risks: You will learn how to identify capacity and Power Quality bottlenecks before an actual outage or fire occurs.
  • Simulate expansions: You will discover how to test the impact of new equipment (such as heat pumps or production lines) in a safe, digital environment.
  • Cutting costs: You will see how simulations help to avoid unnecessary oversizing of cables and transformers.
  • Ensure compliance: You will gain insight into how a Digital Twin contributes to compliance with standards such as NEN 1010 and NEN-EN 50110.

Colin is Teamlead Simulations at HyTEPS and shares the capabilities of modern simulation software in which Digital Twin will be covered in detail.
