HyTEPS & Schiphol: Grip on complex installations in a changing energy landscape

The role of the Installation Manager (IV) has changed dramatically in recent years. Not only are you responsible for compliance with NEN 3140 and NEN 3840, but you also have to navigate a complex landscape of energy transition and digitalisation. Legal and operational pressures are increasing and you will be looked at directly in case of incidents.

In this hectic environment, how do you keep an overview? And how do you shift the focus from reactive response to proactive management, so that you are truly 'unburdened'?

HyTEPS and Schiphol join forces After previous successful editions, HyTEPS and Schiphol warmly invite you to a new edition of the seminar 'Unburdening the Installation Manager' at Schiphol. During this inspiring afternoon for invited guests, we will share in-depth insights, practical examples and concrete tools that you can immediately apply in your daily work.

Topics covereda

Together with experts from the field, we dive into current topics that directly affect the safety, reliability and energy efficiency of your installation:

  • Harmonic currents: How do you recognise risks at the connection point?
  • The impact of PV and EV: How do solar panels and charging stations affect your Power Quality?
  • Measuring is knowing: How do you monitor Power Quality in a way that is truly useful for fault analysis and energy management?
  • Safety & Continuity: applying arc selectivity and preparing for unexpected voltage dips.

Why attend? This exclusive seminar offers not only technical depth, but also the chance to meet fellow installation managers and exchange experiences. You will leave Schiphol with practical tools to fulfil your role as IV officer more efficiently, safely and with more control.

Speakers

Presentation 1: Christan van Dorst

Christan is CTO at HyTEPS. During this lecture, he will talk more about different types of voltage levels.

Presentation 2: Joost Giesbers

Joost is Team Lead Measurements at HyTEPS. He will talk more about harmonic pollution and the importance of Power Quality.

Presentation 3: Colin Willemsen

Colin is Teamlead Simulations at HyTEPS and shares the capabilities of modern simulation software. The calculation of arc energy is a telling example that will of course be covered.
