Description
Active Harmonic Filter for reducing harmonic distortion in variable frequency drives or other
non-linear loads. Thanks to SiC power MOSFETs and Schottky diodes, very high efficiency is achieved and
a switching frequency of 40 kHz is possible, resulting in the efficient elimination of harmonics. This filter reduces the
THD of the current from typically 35% to less than 5%.
