This all-new Power Quality training is more practical than our other training courses. This practically oriented training is a perfect sequel to our training "Understanding Power Quality". We have developed this new training "Power Quality in Practice - Knowledge & Cases" at the request of many of our former trainees. During the training, we treat specific situations that we frequently encounter at our customers. We also offer you the possibility to bring your questions and problems to our attention. By registering you will have the opportunity to provide us with information about your 'case'. (More information at the bottom of this page.)

NEN 1010:2015 in relation to Power Quality

In addition, we have invited J.F.G. Cobben to explain the NEN 1010:2015 in relation to Power Quality. His focus will be on explaining what Power Quality is, which are the points of attention and how problems in the electrical installation can be prevented.

Altogether a very complete day, which will provide more tools for a better understanding of practical Power Quality issues.

Additional information concerning the cases

LED lighting

Problems frequently arise after switching to LED lighting; the lamps have to be replaced much sooner than expected or unexplained failures occur in other parts of the electrical installation. This may be due to the quality of the LED lamp itself, but very often a poor Power Quality might be the underlying cause.

Solar panels

What to think of the increasing number of solar panels being installed. Besides the known benefits, there is a lesser-known disadvantage involved, namely an increased voltage level that can sometimes rise above 250 Volts. Because of this electrical equipment can break down, with the company itself but also in the adjacent business.

Failure main circuit breaker

There may be a Power Quality problem when the main circuit breaker fails frequently, without any direct cause.

Your input

We offer you the opportunity to contribute to the content of our program. This can be an actual situation within your company or at your client, something you have from hearsay or perhaps something that you come across on the internet. Please mention this during registration. We will list and review the input. We will discuss the most common or interesting situation(s) during this day of knowledge.
